Trick or treat

If you saw a bag of bones,
Hanging round your place …
Would you feel a scream coming,
Your heart beating in haste?

Would you ask him in for maybe
Just a little while?
to let him have a cup of tea and
Watch him raise a smile?

Or would you think he can’t be real
and draw your curtains tight?
Retiring to the fireside for a
Warm and cosy night

just to hear a Tap Tap Tapping
Loudly on your door!
It’s your biggest nightmare!
A fright night is in store.

Try your hardest take a breath, you
Just cant sound a scream …
Trick or Treat He’s got you beat.
